Year in review

I've been lagging on these posts.

Baby Jasmine is growing up so quickly that I could easily miss a lot. When I get home from work she's happy to see me. She isn't talking yet or pronouncing actual syllables but I think I have been able to associate some sounds to certain requests. So far I've been able to discern that she doesn't exactly like lying down for too long and when she wants to see mommy. Not being able to roll over also frustrates her.

2016 is quickly coming to a close. Jasmine is close to 5 months old now and this blog is only a bit older, so not quite a full year to review. However there are things to note.

Jasmine makes me act silly. I'm normally quiet and reserved and don't like to do uncomfortable things. But nobody really judges you for being silly and it usually makes situations better. There are inappropriate times and places but I think it's obvious when those come up. Jasmine has helped me to learn a bit more about myself and to push the limits of my comfort zone.

They're not really my clothes unless there's milk spit on it. Especially my home clothes. As she has grown up she has been burping just a bit less. I'm not sure whether she needs burping or not but I haven't been able to burp her very well. She spits up about the same though.

She wants to learn about everything. When we take her out she's studying and looking at everything. Bright lights and people especially. I hope she never stops being interested.
